Juicy Point B

2005

Presented by On the Boards, Juicy Point B culminated a year of research by the Maureen Whiting Company in parking lots, old factories and seedy hotel rooms. Moments of abandoned expression inspired by these settings serves as fuel for Whiting’s intricate, energized choreography, set on modern and classical dancers actresses and non-dancers alike. Juicy Point B represents the launch of the Maureen Whiting Company’s collaboration with a diverse group of artists that has included scenic designer Etta Lilienthal, ballerina Julie Tobiason, actress Frances Hearn and musicians Evan Schiller and Dave Abramson with live singing by Pam Tobiason.

From a stage wrapped in plastic, the unbridled emotion, spirited dancing and live singing of Juicy Point B combine to invite the audience to experience, enjoy and personalize the high points of our lives.

Juicy Point B was created with support from 4Culture and The Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs.
